Begin your journey of learning Traditional Thai Massage at the  Pagosa Home of Warmth & Light, located in Pagosa Springs, Co. Enjoy the natural beauty of the wilderness, mountains, and relaxing hot springs while embarking on an intensive 10 day/night Thai Massage Workshop.

This 10 day Thai Massage Workshop offers a total of 44 CE's approved by NCBTMB. The intensive study is a combination of two fundamental Northern Style courses: Level 1: Principles and Level 2: Intentions. (if you have previously attended one of these courses, then that course will be 50% off). These classes will provide you with a solid foundation in practicing, giving and cultivating Thai massage and its' techniques. Our students will learn basic theory, philosophy, and history of Thai massage as well as utilizing the proper principles of Thai massage. In our teachings we stress the importance of good body alignment and mechanics as well the practice of Metta, compassion and kindness for your receiver as well as yourself.

In addition to receiving these two courses taking from our core Thai Practitioner curriculum, we will offer a day that includes an introduction to Luk Pra Kob herbal compress, sequencing and putting together a Thai massage from what you have learned, and a chance for you to receive as well as give the gift of Thai massage. 

What is the fee?
Approx. $1600 (may be less depending on sleeping arrangements- details below). We would need a 50% deposit to hold your space. You are welcome to pay in full in advance if you prefer. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

What else is included?
Besides staying at this plush , all natural, cozy home surrounded by magnificent beauty and receiving education in three of our fundamental Workshops, you also get:
       -2-certificates of completion (one for each course)
       -A total of 44 CE's approved by NCBTMB
       -Daily gentle Yoga classes
       -either guided qi gong or meditation
       -9 day supply of Organic food
       -1 rented van so you can venture into town. must have license and be
           >25 years of age to use.
       -1 day off for exploration, shopping, relaxing etc.
       -Use of Pagosa Springs amenities (hot springs, hiking trails, etc)
       -A delicious catered Sunday brunch in your honor
       -bonding and forming friendship/relations with 9 other participants

Accommodations?
You have three choices. 1) stay in bedroom with one other person 2)sleep on futon, thai mat, air mattress, couch 3) pitch a tent/camp out back.
Option 1- most expensive (but still relatively cheap. below is details.
Option 2- less expensive than Option 1
Option 3- Absolutely Free

There are 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, so 6 people can stay in rooms.

When is it?
Dates: Aug. 20-29.. Workshop will begin on a Friday, early evening @ 4:00 or 5:00pm. Remainder of the 10 day schedule will be provided  when you arrive.

This Thai Massage Retreat is limited to ONLY 10 students. To hold a space you must provide us with 50% of cost before registration deadline. Registration deadline is May 20th!!!

For this workshop there is a 21-day cancellation policy. If you cancel, you must notify us by July 31 otherwise Flagstaff Thai Massage and Yoga will hold your 50% registration deposit. For any last minute emergency cancellations please speak with us directly and we can work something out.
